POLICY FOR PROFESSIONAL PHOTO TAKING AT ASSISI
HEIGHTS
1. Requests from the public (other than those on
scheduled tours) or the news media to photograph or
videotape at Assisi Heights, whether indoors or
outdoors, should be directed to the Director of
Communications.
2. The Director of Communications will approve any
requests to take photographs/videotape. Requests must be
received during regular business hours of the
Communications Office. Indoor photographs/videotaping
will generally only be permitted during regular business
hours with accompaniment.
3. Requests to take outdoor photographs or videotape
in off-hours (i.e., evenings, weekends, holidays) should
be directed to the Communications Office during regular
business hours. The Director of Communications will give
the photographer’s name to the lobby receptionist. The
photographer will be asked to go directly to the lobby
on arrival to pick up a pass at the pre-arranged time
and will carry the pass while taking photographs in case
security or others request identification. The Director
of Communications will suggest to persons that a
donation would be appropriate.
4. Permission for photos will only be given if the
person(s) requesting has a connection with the Sisters
of St. Francis.
5. The only exception to the above rules are
photographers Jerry Olson of the Rochester Post-Bulletin
and Dean Riggott. They have generously allowed us to use
their photographs and we have given them permission to
photograph the buildings and the grounds without first
getting permission.
6. Photographs are for personal use only and are not
to be reproduced for sale. |
