In the last 130+ years, the Sisters of Saint Francis have served in more than fifteen states, as well as Sierra Leone, Africa, Bogotá, Colombia, and various locations in Cambodia. Much of this service has been in education and health care, but also currently includes a wide variety of other ministries, such as: chaplaincy, spiritual direction and retreats, counseling, administrative services, human rights advocacy, fine arts and art restoration, and care of the earth and its resources.
